Bose (Balakrishna) gains consciousness after being in coma for eighteen long months. People mistook Bose as Godse and this complicates the situation.Bose keeps convincing everyone that he is not Godse and has his own troubled story. Bose goes in search of his identity and also wishes to find out ‘Who is Godse?’ The rest of the story is about finding answers to these queries.
Who is this Bose ? What does he have to do with Godse? and where do Radhika Apte and Trisha feature in this dtory line.

Artists Performances:

Balakrishna is the soul of the movie. Watching him utter powerful dialogues, do high-octane action and fast-paced dance numbers is a feast for the fans.

Trisha as Mahalakshmi is pretty ordinary and her romantic track with Balayya is a big let down for the film. Radhika Apte as Balayya’s Wife is impressive even though she was mostly limited to songs.

Prakash Raj as CM & Antagonist gives a good performance. Kota Srinivas Rao does a fine job. Jayasudha is wasted. Posani as a Cop is decent. Ali as Taxi Drive Ambali (Brother of Baahubali) is just okay. Archana, Siva Balaji and Others were adequate.

Pluѕ Pоіntѕ:
–> Balakrishna’s One-Man Show
–> Interval Bang
–> Songs
–> Action Sequences

Minus points:

–> Screenplay

–> Balayya-Trisha Romantic Track

Final Analysis:
On the whole, Lion is a complete Balakrishna film right from the start. His power packed performance is the major asset and will go well with the masses. On the flip side, lack of proper handling of the subject and a predictable second half makes this film just an ok watch. Watch it only for Balayya.
